Emilie Autumn Event in Unperfekthaus Essen – October 2010 (engl.)
Although the event was in October 2010, it took so long to report on it. An event many in Unperfekthaus love to remember. The day as many wonderful Beauties hit the stage of the Unperfekthaus and transformed it an Asylum of Waywarded Girls.
It all started after Opheliac, a model, and I have done a shooting in Emilie Autumn style and indeed in the Unperfekthaus. We had soon developed the idea to make a shooting and a show on the stage of the Unperfekthaus like Emilie Autumn’s show with the Bloody Crumpets. We were thinking of making it with other fans and models together.
If you look at the pictures, you have to admit that the whole event was a great success. Even when everything was not perfect. But there is improvement.
As it was difficult for me to prepare the whole. Because I had just separated from my wife and family and lived in a completely empty apartment. So much Opheliac made most of the organization alone. Thanks again for that.
The Unperfekthaus did full honor to his name, means the house where everything is not perfect, and even to 11 am a technician and I worked fore the light the evening before the show. That worked to some extent at least.
The Essen sports clubs also showed that nothing was to expect from. I was hoping to get a drum hoop to build the Clock from Emilie Autumn Show. Not that the sports clubs were uncooparative, they only where not really effective.
The day of the event began as all my preparation. Only one model came on time. At least the photo studio, which was in those days treated very bad, was prepared, another photographer had made his blue background available for us.
Finally everyone reached and then everything changed. The ladies turned the stage into a really atmospheric scenery and themselves in fascinating attractions, as if they came directly from Emilie Autumn’s show.
They had really made absolutely beautiful costumes, in no way inferior to the originals from Emilie Autmn show. They had made up and styled themselves, it was asbolutely amazing.
It was a wonderful shoot and everyone had fun and we got a lot of wonderful pictures. We also had fantastic photographers to shoot the models.
But it was confusing me that even professional photographers had difficulties with the stage lights. And shame was that some didn’t find the small photo studio in Unperfekthaus not good enough. Now you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, don’t you ….
But for all at the event in the end it was a great success.
At the end manyexternal photographers just mixed up with the working photographers and made there own thing disturbing the others without introducing themselves or even asking for permission, because everything in UPH is public. But that does not mean, one can disturb other people while they are working, despite of the personal right also the people in the UPH have.
We are no apes in the zoo.
Unfortunately, the mood went away after that and then a final dinner went also. Because all were tired and
wanted to go home.
In the end I was alone in the room and cleaned up. And it was all over like a dream. If the images were not! Was it perhaps just a dream? Have they really been here, the ladies from the Asylum for Waywarded Girls? Or were they emerged from the past and gone away? Wasn’t there a rat scurrying? Are you suffering?
